Haxhi Zeka University in Pejë (UHZ), in an effort to promote cooperation and regional economic development, has signed a cooperation agreement with the Municipality of Junik. In an official meeting, the Rector of UHZ, Prof. Dr. Armand Krasniqi, was received by the Mayor of the Municipality of Junik, Mr. Ruzhdi Shehu.
During the meeting, both sides expressed their willingness to engage in mutual cooperation. At the same time, the importance of the Regional Economic Development Forum project was considered. It became clear that the agreement will serve to expand this cooperation. The main purpose of the agreement is to encourage cooperation and the exchange of ideas between the UHZ and the Municipality of Junik in various areas of economic development. Through this agreement, the parties concerned, and not only, will work together to identify and develop concrete projects that will promote economic growth in the region. This may include supporting innovation, promoting local entrepreneurship, organizing trainings and seminars, as well as other initiatives to promote regional economic development. The signed agreement represents an important step towards closer cooperation between UHZ and the Municipality of Junik.
